NAEIR E-xpress Help for Prospective Members |
|
Reviewing Available Items |
|
As a prospective NAEIR member, you will be allowed to view the available items in a
manner that closely simulates an actual NAEIR membership. |
|
It is important to note that in no way will you be able to actually submit a
request, nor will you be invoiced for any "simulated requested" items. |
| Navigating the Web Pages |
|
Please pay attention to the helpful instructions on the left side of the web page to get the
most benefit from your viewing experience. Your NAEIR Enrollment Representative is
also available to help if you have problems. |
| "Simulated Requesting" of Items |
|
Any desired quantities that you enter will be added to your "simulated request".
The entire request, including applicable shipping charges, can be viewed at any time by
clicking on the NAEIR truck icon. |
| Shipping Charges |
|
Most items requested are shipped using Federal Express Ground Service. These
items are identified by the FDX logo and by the word "FDX" on the individual item detail
page. Estimated shipping charges are calculated using FDX Ground Residential Rates. |
|
There may be minor variations between the estimated shipping charge and the invoiced
shipping charge. This happens because some items ship in individual boxes while others
can be combined within a shipping box. The variety of items and the quantities requested
effect the actual packaging of the shipment. These variations are not always known when
the estimates are provided. |
|
Bulk items are those items too large to be shipped via FDX. These items are identified by
the "e-xpress" Bulk Item logo and the word "Bulk" on the individual item detail page.
For these, we use commercial truck carriers and we get very attractive rates because of
our volume. When viewing a Bulk item, you can click on a link to see the estimated
shipping cost to twelve selected cities across the country. When a NAEIR member
requests one of these items, they get an exact quote of the shipping charge and have the
ability to "accept" or "reject" the item before it is actually shipped. |
