What
NAEIR is:
A not-for-profit
collector and distributor of new, donated overstock inventory, from
U.S. corporations, to schools and nonprofit organizations.
A fair,
equitable way for these goods to be distributed to qualified
recipient groups, using a highly sophisticated computerized allocation
system, designed specifically for this purpose.
A budget
supplement that can help a school or nonprofit receive new, useful
supplies and equipment, paying only membership dues, plus shipping and
handling. The merchandise itself is FREE.
What
NAEIR is not:
A mail
order house, buyer's club, or discount service. Member organizations
do not pay for the merchandise; however, since all products are donated,
they are in limited quantities and members do not receive everything
they ask for.
A
needs-specific service. For example, if your organization needs a
folding table, you may not find one in the NAEIR catalogs. If you do
find one and request it you may or may not receive it. There is no
guarantee that you will receive any individual item that you request.
First
come, first serve. NAEIR allocates merchandise from each catalog on
a weekly basis, over a ten week period. Simply put, NAEIR apportions the
merchandise in each catalog out into tenths, giving that portion away
each week as requests come in. This ensures that all of the high-demand
items will not be given away at the beginning of the cycle, nor will
they be held until the end. As long as they meet the catalog deadline,
each member has an equal chance at the merchandise.
Like
any service you have ever used before. We strongly urge you to read
and follow the requesting instructions in each catalog and phone your Membership Advocate
at 800.562.0955
any time you have a question or need assistance. We're always eager to
help and want you to get the most you can out of NAEIR's service.
