Excess Inventory Donations – Great Tax Reduction Strategy…especially now!

Donating your excess inventory now may be a very wise move as we approach year end.  With the Presidential election taking place November 6th and with many seats in Congress in play, tax legislation will be getting increasing attention.

We may not yet know who exactly will be president but we can know with certainty that in the weeks to come lawmakers on Capitol Hill will be talking more and more about tax reform.

Among other things there’s of course talk about changes in corporate tax rates.

Whether donating inventory will reap a more lucrative deduction now or later is not certain, but with so much in the air between now and year end it may be more prudent to take action now rather than later.  It may be smarter to act now.  Don’t wait.

Give NAEIR’s Corporate Relations Department a call at (800)-562-0955 or email us at donor@naeir.org.  The donation process is simple and straightforward and we’ll answer any questions you may have.

Doing good by donating excess inventory can result in more cash in your pocket and less overhead as a result of carrying less inventory along with a good night’s rest knowing you’ve done somebody (some nonprofit, school or church) a lot of good.

Whatever your situation, as we’re rapidly heading toward the end of the year…(this is after all, the 4th quarter with Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the bend) you really should consider donating all of that inventory you’ve been holding on to.  You can be certain that it will be going to a really good cause as well as being a smart move when you consider the up to twice-cost federal tax deduction under Internal Revenue Code Section 170(e)(3).

Did I mention that you can do good and at the same time, help yourself out by donating your excess inventory to NAEIR while getting an up to twice-cost federal tax deduction?
